HOW IT ALL BEGAN

After graduating from the prestigious École hôtelière de Lausanne, Jörg Rauschenberger opened his first restaurant in Winnenden, Stuttgart in 1982.

Over the years, the company has grown to become one of Germany's leading fine dining and event catering companies. The geographic focus of the restaurants is Stuttgart, but the event catering division serves not only the entire national market, but also other EU countries and Switzerland. The company currently employs approximately 400 people, 2/3 of whom are full-time employees, including trainees, and 1/3 of whom are part-time or marginally employed.

Rauschenberger Gastronomie was founded in 1982. From the very beginning, our company DNA has been characterized by the genes of a passionate host.

OUR ACADEMY

Foodservice is a people business, and success in our industry is achieved through the skills of our people. This is nothing new. In addition to professional qualifications, soft skills are increasingly in demand. These are the personal and character traits that ultimately make the difference in the guest's perception. To meet this demand, we have developed a complementary training and development concept that goes beyond the purely technical. It is aimed in particular at highly motivated trainees and junior staff who, if they are suitable, would like to take on management responsibility in the future. The following training modules have been compiled and developed for this purpose.

top apprenticeship

Anyone who joins us begins a top-notch training program. We support our trainees and entry-level employees with targeted and individualized training and varied work in different areas of the company. We offer apprenticeships in restaurant management, kitchen, event management, warehouse/logistics, office management, marketing communications, media design and human resources.

For students and young professionals

Our internships and trainee positions, which are often taken up by students from the renowned École hotelière de Lausanne, offer a sought-after opportunity to take a look at Rauschenberger between training / studies and starting a career.

In the long run, good performance cannot go unnoticed. Over the years, we have received many good ratings, prizes and awards that prove that the company has come very close to achieving its goals. This makes us proud and we work hard to ensure that this continues.
